Project

FocusFlow helps students and busy users decide what to work on next. It uses a clear scoring system to rank tasks instead of calling an AI model.

The goal is to keep the project realistic, understandable, and easy to explain.

What It Does

  • Add, edit, delete, and complete tasks.
  • Save tasks in localStorage so they stay in the browser.
  • Show the top priority task and the top 3 ranked tasks.
  • Display weather after the user enters a city.
  • Recommend books based on the highest ranked category.
  • Run a simple focus timer for study sessions.

APIs

  • Geoapify Geocoding API converts a city into coordinates.
  • Open-Meteo Weather API returns current weather details.
  • Open Library API searches books related to the top task category.
